2018 Tutu Fellow Chude Jideonwo will host a new season of his show, #WithChude, starting in August 2023. Since its launch in March 2020, it has developed into a talk show and podcast that speaks to Africa’s celebrities and leaders about the mind, heart, and spirit.  Chude says the show is a series of conversations that underline issues, raise consciousness, and are in Africa and for Africans.

It has been at the forefront of issues around sexual abuse, depression, HIV/AIDs, diversity, shame amongst others, and seeks to create narratives that promote mental and emotional health.

Chude says that its themes center on empathy, compassion, mindfulness, wellness, happiness, love and joy as food for the soul.  He has hosted on the show several African leaders, including President Olusegun Obasanjo, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka, and people from across business, politics and culture.

Chude is founder of Joy, Inc., the media group RED, and director of Chude Jideonwo Presents, a film and series studio that independently produces factual and non-fiction content including film, series, podcasts and TV for mainstream audiences and from a Black African perspective.  His first documentary film, Awaiting Trial, released in October 2022 and has been honoured for ‘Best Documentary’ at the Africa International Film Festival and the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards.

Here is one of the interviews from the WithChude show.
